FROZEN WATER

Burr! Again, I say, "BURR!" Yesterday it was after 3:30 p.m. before my water thawed out. I tried every little song and dance routine I knew and the pipes just didn't seem to want to thaw. This picture is not from my house but from www.flickr.com .

I identify with the frozen water pipes though. It was nice to be able to flush the toilet and wash my face. Not necessarily in that order.

Last night I left the water drizzling and thus, I had water for coffee, washing and flushing this morning. I suppose what I need to do is find something to wrap my pipes, that's what daddy use to do. Long before we had insulated pipes he was wrapping pipes with old rags. Watch out old bath towels here I come.
