The Beginnings of Faith

"So faith comes from hearing, and hering by the word of Christ." Romans 10:7

To have faith one must discover the Word of God, the Bible, is true and see how God has shown Himself to us throughout the centuries.

To have faith is to trust God as right. Realizing that it is He who made us and not we ourselves.

To have faith is to know that God has a meaning and purpose for each of our lives. And, as we will have faith, and accept the fact that Jesus Christ alone, is God's perfect sacrifice chosen to atone for our sinful attitudes and ways, and that has given His life as a sacrificial offering to meet the requirements God has for forgiveness we will will have faith and believe that the Words of God, unfolding in the Scriptures are real and personal. They are spoken and written so that we might believe and accept the gift of salvation that comes through Christ alone. Walk by faith, knowing that God has given us Jesus to show us mercy and grace are eternal gifts given us by our loving God.
